Australia's iOS Business Finance & Solutions Apps Q1 2024 Snapshot

In the first quarter of 2024, Australia's iOS platform saw significant activity in the Business Finance & Solutions category. Data from Sensor Tower offers a glimpse into the performance of the top 5 applications in this segment.

Xero Me, developed by Xero Ltd, showed a strong start in downloads, increasing from 2K in the first week of January to a peak of approximately 7K by the end of the month. Despite a slight dip to 5K towards the end of March, weekly active users trended upwards, starting at 69K and reaching over 83K.

Square Point of Sale (POS) by Block, Inc. demonstrated a download trend that peaked at over 4K in the third week of February before settling at around 3K by late March. Weekly active users fluctuated, reaching a high of over 11K twice in the quarter but ended slightly above 10K.

Rest Super experienced variability in its downloads, with an impressive surge to nearly 6K in the last week of February. Weekly active users peaked at over 16K in the second week of January, with a noticeable drop to approximately 11K in the subsequent weeks before climbing back to over 13K by the quarter's end.

AustralianSuper saw its downloads grow from 2K to nearly 4K in the first month, followed by a slight decrease to 2K towards March. Weekly active users began at 52K, reaching a high of 54K mid-quarter, but experienced a gradual decline to 47K.

HESTA, a newer entrant, had an erratic download pattern with a sharp increase to 13K in the third week of January but saw numbers fall and rise, ending with 1K in the final week of March. Active user data for HESTA was not provided.
